I think that's because you have PHP5. OpenBiblio requires PHP4.

Or, try the latest build from here (use the one above 0.6.1):

Sorry it's not possible to do that in the Home Edition. Instead, try using the original OpenBiblio (which has the interface arranged around the call number) and adding ISBN as a custom field.

Hi Mizst,
It's nice to find this OpenbiblioHE. If I were know it months ago. I once had a project with openbiblio in livecd, puppylib based on Puppy Linux. Now I build another, name Degex with slims (senayan library and management system).
I have not used Koha before, but it's time for me to play with your KOHA livecd. Thanks, Mizst.

Glad to hear that there are people out there making OpenBiblio compatible with PHP5. It's too bad that the official site has not been updated for years.

You cannot export MARC, only import. Further documentation here:

http://obiblio.sourceforge.net/index.php/Main/Documentation

Also, you should not use the Home Edition with real library records, much less MARC-formatted ones. This is because some important fields, such as call number, have been repurposed in Home Edition to hold other data. Try the original OpenBiblio instead.

The Home Edition is intended to be used by non-librarian home/office users who have not been educated in library concepts such as call numbers, so ISBN, book cover, and manual storage location are more important to them as a way to store and locate books. The interface in Home Edition has been modified to reflect this.

Also, if you regularly rely on MARC transmission, please consider Koha instead. OpenBiblio's support for MARC has not matured yet.
