Koha Live CD Release 4

This release adds the much-requested Zebra support and updates Koha to 3.0.5. You don’t need to configure anything, as I have pre-configured zebra daemons to start automatically and added the crontab for indexing, which will be there as soon as the Live CD starts up. You do need to select to use Zebra when you go through the web-installer wizard, as well as selecting “Marc21″ when asked.

Please visit the project page for more detail and download link to SourceForge. This release will no longer be available on BitTorrent.

Hopefully I’ll get another long holiday to update to either 3.0.6 or 3.2 when they’re released.

This release is fantastic. I was having such a difficult time getting it up and running before this. Thank you so much. Are you planning on releasing a 3.06 version with ubuntu 10.04 perhaps?

    You’re welcome. :-)

Of course, a 3.06 + Ubuntu 10.04 version will be released. But I’m currently holed up in a big project at my day job so it may be a while longer.

In the meantime, you can use the current release (4) and upgrade Ubuntu using the update manager to get 3.05 + 10.04. Since 3.06 is not a feature release, I think it will suffice quite well.
