Last week I was trying out Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Remix on my 2-year-old Fujitsu U1010 and discovered that the wireless LAN became sluggish. Curiously there appears to be no solution posted on the internet even though there are lots of complaints for similar classes of netbooks (presumably one with the same Atheros 500x chipset).
